A Short Biography of Prof. Michael J. Seiler

Dr. Michael J. Seiler is the J. Edward Zollinger Endowed Chair Professor of Real Estate and Finance at The College of William & Mary, Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University. Past President of the American Real Estate Society, Dr. Seiler is currently the #1 ranked real estate researcher, and actively consultants in the areas of behavioral and experimental real estate and finance. He is formerly a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and the London School of Economics and a Visiting Professor at John Hopkins University and the Australian National University. A former hedge fund Chief Economist, Dr. Seiler is an internationally recognized behavioral real estate researcher whose studies have been cited in the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, LA Times, and Washington Post. He has published over 175 research studies, has written several books, and serves as the co-editor of Journal of Real Estate Research and editor of Real Estate Finance. Michael is a past recipient of the William N. Kinnard Young Scholar Award, and more recently received the James A. Graaskamp Award which recognizes extraordinary iconoclastic thought/action throughout a person’s career in the development of a multi-disciplinary philosophy of real estate in the areas of behavioral real estate and decision-making.

A Short Biography of Dr.Richard L. Peterson

Dr. Richard Peterson is CEO and founder of the MarketPsych. Called "Wall Street's Top Psychiatrist" (Associated Press), Dr. Peterson received Doctor of Medicine degrees (M.D.) from the University of Texas, Austin. He performed postdoctoral neuroeconomics research at Stanford University, is Board-certified in Psychiatry, and is a visiting scholar at Claremont Graduate University. He has developed behavioral finance-based quantitative models, imaged the brains of test subjects while play-trading, and is a writer and consultant in the psychology of financial decisions and the mining of sentiment in social media. A Short Biography of Dr. Philippe N. Tobler

Dr. Philippe Tobler is a professor of neuroeconomics and social neuroscience at the Zurich Center for Neuroeconomics, an internationally leading research institution. Having studied experimental psychology (University of Bern) with a focus on the oculomotor system, for his PhD (University of Cambridge) Prof. TOBLER investigated reward processing by single dopamine neurons. He is interested in the neural basis of reward, learning, economic decision making and social behavior. He studies both group effects and individual differences with a variety of methods. Examples of brain structures that he is particularly interested in include the dopaminergic midbrain, the striatum and the prefrontal cortex. Dr. Tobler has published in leading interdisciplinary academic journals, such as Science, Neuron, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Neuroscience, etc. His works have been cited 10700 times by other scholars.
